Lee is a member of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America (SFWA), and is a Featured Author on their website.The SFWA is an organization of professional writers of science fiction, fantasy, and related genres. Past and present members include Isaac Asimov, Anne McCaffrey, Ray Bradbury, and Andre Norton. It was founded in 1965 by Damon Knight.

Lee was a featured author at the Atlanta Journal

Constitution / Decatur Book Festival on Sept 3,

2011. This festival is the largest independent book

event in the United States. Lee talked about his

books, and held a book signing afterwards.

Lee is also a member of the Atlanta Writers Club, which is the largest writers group in Georgia. The AWC was started in 1914 and has many published authors.

Dragon Con, one of the largest sci-fi and fantasy conventions in the U.S., was held on Sept 2-5, 2011 in Atlanta, Georgia. Lee attended the event and was on one of the Writer's Panels.

Lee is also a member of Pinawor, the Pinellas Authors and Writers Organization. Pinawor is the largest writers' group in Pinellas County, Florida. It was started in April 1987 and its membership includes a large number of published authors.
